Full-neck assessment in Business Bay

Neck Botox in Dubai, planned from jawline to collarbone

A full-neck consultation considers platysmal bands, downward pull around the jawline, neck movement, skin quality, and swallowing safety before any treatment is discussed.

What the assessment looks for

Neck treatment requires a wider view of movement, skin, support, and nearby swallowing muscles.

01

Platysmal bands

Vertical bands may become more prominent when the neck contracts.

02

Jawline pull

Selected downward pull at the lower face and jawline may be assessed as part of a Nefertiti-style plan.

03

Skin & horizontal lines

Horizontal creases, laxity, and skin texture may require a different or combined treatment discussion.

At a glance

Neck lines are not all caused by the same thing

Vertical platysmal prominence, horizontal skin creases, laxity, volume, and downward muscle pull are different concerns. Botulinum toxin is considered only where muscle activity is part of the picture.

Area-specific treatment

Placement is selected only after full-neck movement and safety assessment.

01

Full-neck assessment

Movement, swallowing history, jawline, skin, and medical context are considered.

02

Usually 30–45 minutes

Timing depends on the assessment and the selected treatment area.

03

Changes develop over days

Muscle relaxation develops progressively and varies between people.

04

Often 4–6 months

Duration varies by treatment area, muscle activity, product, and individual response.

05

Not a skin-tightening treatment

Botulinum toxin does not directly replace volume or tighten loose skin.

Botulinum-toxin products have different units and are not interchangeable. Mahan uses Nabota, BOTOX by Allergan, and Dysport; your clinician selects the product and plan after assessment.

Movement, skin, and support

When neck Botox may fit—and when it may not

A full-neck assessment helps distinguish visible platysmal movement from skin-quality or laxity concerns that botulinum toxin cannot directly correct.

Often discussed for

  • Visible platysmal bands with neck contraction
  • Selected downward muscle pull around the jawline
  • A full-neck movement assessment
  • Understanding whether lines are muscle-led or skin-led

May need another approach

  • Loose skin requiring direct tightening support
  • Replacing lost neck or jawline volume
  • Unexplained swallowing or neck symptoms
  • A guaranteed lifting or jawline result

Your consultation journey

Before, during and after your visit

The consultation, treatment plan, and aftercare are adjusted to the area being assessed and your medical context.

  1. 01

Assess the neck at rest and in contraction

The clinician reviews visible bands, jawline pull, skin quality, symmetry, swallowing history, and relevant health information.

  2. 02

    Separate muscle-led and skin-led concerns

The proposed area, expected degree of change, alternatives, and area-specific risks are explained before you decide.

  3. 03

    Follow neck-specific aftercare

If treatment is suitable, you receive written aftercare and clear instructions about symptoms that need medical attention.

Suitability & safety

Important details to share with your clinician

Botulinum toxin is a prescription treatment and is not suitable for everyone. Your clinician reviews relevant health information, medicines, previous treatment, and area-specific risks.

  • Discuss existing swallowing, speech, breathing, neck-muscle, or neurological problems; medicines; pregnancy or breastfeeding; infection; and previous treatment.
  • Possible effects include bruising, tenderness, asymmetry, neck weakness, unwanted change in nearby muscles, or difficulty swallowing.
  • Because the neck is close to muscles involved in swallowing and head support, suitability and placement require particular care.

Urgent: Seek urgent medical attention for difficulty swallowing, speaking, or breathing, or significant neck weakness after treatment.

Questions, answered

Neck Botox FAQs

Useful general information first; a clinician can then make it specific to you.

What does full-neck Botox include?

The consultation can assess the full area from the jawline to the collarbone, including platysmal bands and selected downward pull around the jawline. The actual treatment area is chosen individually.

Is this the same as a Nefertiti neck lift?

A Nefertiti-style approach generally refers to selected treatment of platysmal pull around the lower face and jawline. A full-neck assessment is broader and does not mean that technique is suitable for everyone.

Will it tighten loose neck skin?

Botulinum toxin changes selected muscle activity; it does not directly tighten loose skin or replace lost volume. The clinician may discuss other options when skin laxity is the main concern.

Why is swallowing history important?

Some neck muscles are close to structures involved in swallowing. Existing symptoms and area-specific risk must be discussed before treatment.

How long can the effect last?

Effects are often discussed in the range of four to six months, but duration varies with the area, plan, and individual response.

How do I arrange a consultation?

Use the form, call, or message us on WhatsApp. Describe whether your concern is bands, jawline pull, horizontal lines, laxity, or a combination.
